Silver (Screen) Surfer
What: Catch new and classic surf films from all over the world at the 6th Annual Honolulu Surf Film Festival. The action kicks off tomorrow with an opening night reception and screening of The Heart and the Sea.
When: Opening night reception takes place tomorrow at 6 p.m. Movies run through August 1.

What: A heads up for beer-loving foodies. Every Monday in July, 12th Ave Grill will offer a special dish to accompany one of Big Island Brewhaus' craft beers. The dish for this coming Monday is still in the works, but it'll be paired with the alcohol- and hops-heavy Overboard IPA.

What: On the Big Island, Hualalai Resort is celebrating summer with a series of pop-up shops and trunk shows. The biggest is a Sol Angeles pop-up at Seaside Beach boutique (pictured above), featuring a summer capsule collection of T-shirts designed exclusively for resort, plus men's women's and children's apparel, swimwear, and accessories. Other events include designer appearances and trunk shows by Jemma Sands, Lem Lem, Letarte and more.
