Stix Asia Food Hall Now Open With 13 Restaurants in Waikīkī

Waikīkī's revamped Asian food hall grand opens today with discounts and deals at select restaurants.

Editor’s note: By the middle of 2023, the number of eateries at Stix had expanded to 16.

Today, Feb. 6, is National Chopsticks Day, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Stix Asia is grand-opening. The food hall, which took over and revitalized the shuttered Waikīkī Yokocho in the basement level of Waikīkī Shopping Plaza, celebrated over the weekend with live music each evening. Thirteen of the planned 17 restaurants are now open, and while shops like Honolulu Noodle & Co. are new, others like Ramen Baikohken and Nana’s Green Tea have reopened in their original spaces.

Four more places still in the works are unagi restaurant Love and Eel, Kiki Tempura, Ramen Akatsuki, and Tangmi, a Southeast Asian noodle bar.

From 11 a.m. today, 12 restaurants have half-off promotions on signature dishes limited to the first 300 customers. Each restaurant may have different hours, so plan accordingly. Also plan to find parking, since Stix Asia doesn’t offer validated parking.
