Craft beer brewery Beer Lab HI opened its original location on University Avenue in 2016, and two other locations—one in Waipi‘o and one in Pearlridge Mall Uptown—have opened since, each with slightly different personalities: the University taproom, Beer Lab’s OG spot, features up to 10 rotating beers, made-in-house kombucha and Beer Lab HI’s own salami, which the brewery started making earlier this year; the Waipi‘o taproom features up to 15 rotating beers plus a sandwich and deli menu; Beer Lab HI Big at Pearlridge Mall Uptown features 10 rotating beers on tap and a rotating lineup of independent local chefs with their own menu of dishes.
