Get Local, Grass-Fed Cheeseburgers for Just 5 Dollars Every Tuesday

(Sponsored) Honolulu Burger Co. is serving up five-buck burgers on Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., plus plenty of other deals throughout the week to keep you (and your wallet) happy.

You’ve heard of (and possibly experienced) the Freshman 15. But what about COVID 15? Sheltering in place has me feeling extra fluffy lately, and all the killer takeout deals restaurants have been putting out lately haven’t exactly been helping.

Honolulu Burger Co.’s $5 cheeseburger special is one of those deals, and will probably be the next culprit behind my new hibernation bod. Every Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m., the restaurant offers its regular-size single cheeseburger—made with 100% local, grass-fed beef, Hawai‘i-grown tomato and onion, and house chipotle mayo, served on a fresh Kaiser roll—for just $5 for walk-in and phone orders. (Note: No substitutions or upgrades are allowed, and this deal can’t be combined with any other offer or promotion.)

The restaurant also has several other weekday specials, including mini locos (2.5-ounce patty with sauteed onions, egg, rice, mac salad and brown gravy) for $6 every Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which can be upgraded with bacon and spam and kalua pig for an extra $1 or $2.
