Get your chopsticks ready, poke lovers, Frolic’s Poke Fest presented by Fresh Island Fish is back! Favorite poke shops from all over the island are converging at Ka Makana Ali‘i for a celebration of Hawai‘i’s iconic seafood dish on Saturday, May 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. The best part? After two years of zero-contact drive-thru formats, the 5th Annual Poke Fest will be a live event, out in the open air with more ‘onolicious poke choices than ever.
Admission is free, you can show up without pre-ordering and sample different poke styles from as many vendors as you like, and live entertainment will be happening all evening. Early birds get more than a worm: The first 500 people through the gates will receive a free cooler bag courtesy of Foodland Hawai‘i. Most exciting for poke fans will be all-new poke creations from your favorite vendors. You’ll get to vote for the day’s best and we’ll crown the King of Poke Fest 2022!
This year, a special Poke Pass upgrade will get you new poke creations from five vendors of your choice, complete with Poke Pass express lines to bypass crowds. Poke Passes entitle you to five 4-ounce portions of pure poke—the equivalent of what’s on four to five poke bowls. These are available now for online pre-purchase.
