Frolic Hawai‘i’s poke extravaganza returns Saturday, May 28. Here’s why we can’t wait.
The best way to start your three-day weekend: Creative and brand new poke creations from 17 local spots. And that’s just what event-goers will find at Frolic Hawai‘i’s Poke Fest taking place this Saturday, May 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. Here are five reasons why we’re got our chopsticks in hand.
1. You’ll have the chance to try poke by some of the island’s most popular spots.

The best part of Poke Fest? The food (duh!). Participating restaurants this year include Fort Ruger Market, Redfish Poke Bar, Alicia’s Market and more, each with their own unique takes on classic poke dishes. Here’s the full lineup of dishes being served at Poke Fest presented by Fresh Island Fish.

4. A fun and free keiki zone.
Keiki of all ages can enjoy free face painting and balloon animals inside Ka Makana Ali‘i. Within the Poke Fest event area, enjoy games and prizes (while supplies last) courtesy of MINI Hawai‘i, photos with Storybook Entertainment characters and more.
