4 New Things You Can Buy at Mānoa Chocolate
Mānoa Chocolate opened a new factory capable of churning out 50,000 chocolate bars a month, more than twice as many as the old spot.

1. Brewing chocolate ($15)
Made from cacao nibs and shells, a spoonful of this brewed in hot water tastes like a light, chocolatey tea.
2. Chocolate of the month club ($20/month)
Sign up for a monthly subscription to get a set of three chocolate bars, including a limited-edition bar, which in the past has included a Hawaiian honey chocolate and a double mocha mac nut.
3. Cacao spritzer ($4)
It’s rare to taste cacao pulp: It’s highly perishable and is a byproduct of cacao processing that’s usually either tossed or saved by the farmers as their little secret. But owner Dylan Butterbaugh says Mānoa Chocolate gets the syrupy juice from an Ecuadorian farm, cuts it with water and carbonates it for a fizzy, tart and super refreshing drink.
4. Mānoa Chocolate gelato ($3.50/scoop)
Il Gelato churns Mānoa Chocolate’s 70% world blend dark chocolate for this exclusive flavor. At the factory, a scoop is topped with crushed cacao nibs.
