T
ypical St. Patrick’s Day eats in Hawai‘i tend to favor Ireland’s savory dishes—corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, beef stew. After all that eating yesterday, you might be craving something a little sweeter, a little carbier and a little more decadent.

12th Ave Grill, which, last night, sold out of its more than 200 orders of St. Paddy’s Day corned beef and cabbage and shepherd’s pie, is back to bring you some post-holiday sweets. DeliCafe, which the Kaimukī restaurant opened November of last year, is most known for its sandwiches, but here’s a tip: Save room for dessert, it’s worth it.
Even if you’ve had the pleasure of biting into one of its sweet creations, you have a reason to pay the restaurant another visit. DeliCafe recently debuted some new treat-yourself-worthy desserts, including dark chocolate cupcakes with Nutella frosting and Valrhona chocolate shavings, liliko‘i curd cheesecake brownies and chocolate mousse and raspberry layer cake with dark chocolate icing.
