Hayao Miyazaki’s critically acclaimed “My Neighbor Totoro” screens on Sunday, July 10 at 3 p.m..
Attention otaku and anime fans! Starting this Friday, you can see the best of renowned storyteller Hayao Miyazaki’s animations during Hawaii Theatre Center’s Miyazaki Ghibli Film Festival! This three-day event, taking place July 8-10 at Hawaii Theatre, will showcase the celebrated “Princess Mononoke” (July 8, 8 p.m.), “Kiki’s Delivery Service” (July 9, 4 p.m.), “Spirited Away” (July 9, 8 p.m.), and “My Neighbor Totoro” (July 10, 3 p.m.). The festival will also feature local vendors, arts and crafts workshops, a costume contest, and a special Saturday night dinner from the Pig and the Lady.

Friday, 7/8/16 – Opening Night
6:30 p.m.: Outside concessions with Pig & The Lady (6:30-8:00 p.m.)
7:00 p.m.: Entertainment by the Drowning Dreamers via Art + Flea (7:30-8:00 p.m.) *
8:00 p.m.: “Princess Mononoke” (subtitled)
Saturday, 7/9/16 – Second Day
3:00 p.m.: Outside concessions with Onomono; vendors in Weyand Room (3:00-8:00 p.m.)
4:00 p.m.: “Kiki’s Delivery Service” (dubbed)
5:00 p.m.: Pop-up dinner at Pig & The Lady (5:00-6:30pm) SOLD OUT
7:00 p.m.: Entertainment by Makkuro Kuro.K. via Art + Flea (7:30-8:00 p.m.)
8:00 p.m.: “Spirited Away” (subtitled)
