Ward Village NiteRun for JDRF Hawaii
Lace up your running shoes, grab your friends and get ready for the Ward Village NiteRun & Street Party, a 5K fun run/walk to raise funds for JDRF Hawaii – a foundation that works to improve the lives of Hawaii’s children, adults and families living with type 1 diabetes.
This family (and costume) friendly fun run takes place this Saturday, September 20th at 7pm, with racers starting and finishing at the Kewalo Basin parking lot. Registration is $55 (or $45 with military, student or HGEA ID) and includes a headlamp, t-shirt, water and snacks during the race.
The fun continues across the finish line with a post-race glow-in-the-dark street party featuring an LED dance performance, specialty food and beverages and live music from Roothub, Erika Elona, Paul Izak, The Deadbeats, Jerome James and SuperCW. Come prepared to compete for prizes and glory awarded for the following titles: Best Costume, Best Group Costume, Best Parent-Child Costume combo, Best-Lit participant, Best Finish Line Dance and Best Ward Village Spirit.
Late registration is available up until 5:30pm on the day of the race so thereʻs no excuse not to participate!
