What’s in store for the first weekend of October? Kawaii food inspired by a lazy cartoon egg, cooking lessons with chef Cat Cora, Oktoberfest at The Willows, a Pokemon Go-themed burlesque show and a day for keikis!

Sanrio and Hawaii’s three Eggs ‘n Things restaurants are teaming up to feature Gudetama, the lazy egg. For one month you’ll find sleepy Gudetama adorning things like pancakes, a burger, a loco moco and ice coffee, in two set menus. Neither will be available before noon. Gudetama doesn’t do early.

Cat Cora shares stories and tips on preparing some award-winning dishes. The best part? Plenty of scrumptious samples! Purchases of $35 or more in Macy’s Home Department will get you a $10 Macy’s gift card, a special gift and a copy of Cora’s “Cooking As Fast As I Can,” which she’ll sign for you.
OKTOBERFEST at The Willows

It’s the iconic restaurant’s first Oktoberfest: Admission includes German-inspired pupus and six tastings of German beers and wines from a selection of more than 20 offerings.
