As someone living in a no-kid household, I often take for granted how much easier mealtimes are when you only need to figure out what you want. And while I imagine Chef Chai’s Wiki Wiki Dinner Box is likely bougier than your kids (and maybe even you) are used to for a takeout dinner, that’s all the more reason to give it a try.

The Wiki Wiki Dinner Box is Chef Chai at Pacifica’s newish gourmet to-go option that’s as convenient as it is affordable: For $120, you get eight entrées, two salads and two desserts (or, if your extended family also happens to be over, double up for $220). That’s a meal for eight at less than $15 per person—a very reasonable price by Chef Chai standards, or any other for that matter. Menu changes weekly and must be ordered 48 hours in advance for easy drive-thru pickup or delivery on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

This week’s menu includes: Big Island Caesar salad with baby Romaine; steamed fish with ginger, scallions and choi sum; Thai panang beef curry with kaffir lime and jasmine rice; grilled chicken with fresh green-apple-pineapple salsa and edamame fried rice; and cinnamon crumb cake for dessert. To place your order, call (808) 585-0011 or go here to place an order online. If, like many families, you’re too busy to squeeze in a curbside pickup, don’t worry: Chef Chai offers a $12 delivery in the Honolulu area, and a $15 delivery outside of the designated area, between 4 and 6:30 p.m.
