Tasty Tuesdays at Aiea Bowl
Aiea Bowl is known for its cosmic bowling, tasty chicken and wonderful baked goods. But every Tuesday, you can find a five-course, prix fixe fine-dining menu. Going on two years with this weekly event, the restaurant has turned one of its slowest dining days into one of its busiest.
Aiea Bowl owner and chef Glenn Uyeda, along with executive chef Shane Masutani, create a different menu each month. Thinking of local favorites, Uyeda said they try to create local dishes with a fine-dining flair. Wine comes along with the prix fixe menu, with customers being able to choose between a red or white wine sample. Masutani said that with Tasty Tuesdays, locals are given the opportunity to eat a top-of-the-line meal in an atmosphere that’s laid back and fun. For $39 per person, anyone can have an exclusive meal without having to dress up to the nines or pay an arm and a leg for it.
To try Aiea Bowls Tasty Tuesday menu, you need to make a reservation. The restaurant limits the event to 50 people a week. At the end of each month, the chefs post the upcoming menu on their website.
