Nonstop Kaka‘ako: Time to shop!

As part of Saturday’s Nonstop Kaka‘ako, several retailers will be setting up shop, selling everything from bikinis to bracelets. They’ll also be vendors offering various beauty services.

Nonstop Kaka‘ako is a one-night pop-up food, retail and entertainment experience with entertainment on two stages by Anuhea, Yoza, Kainalu and Lost at Sea, as well as 40 food booths from Best of Nonstop Honolulu nominees, food trucks from Eat
the Street and others. Other attractions: a beer garden, a women’s lounge, Live UH football vs. New Mexico State and a Women’s Lounge (with a Beauty Bar, martini and sweets bar, DJ and scent bar by Chai Studio).

When: Saturday, Oct. 22 from 4 p.m. to midnight
Where: Coral, Keawe and Auahi streets
Admission: Free

 

We’ll also be offering a “shopping valet,” a safe spot for you to stash your purchases while you check out the rest of the street fest.

Bliss Online Boutique

CHAI Studio, located in the heart of Kaka‘ako, sells all types of handmade things — bedding, pillows, throws, bangles, glassware, chandelier earrings, tunics, furniture from reclaimed materials, poufs and rustic furniture repurposed from its original use. There’s also a body bar to create your signature scent. At Nonstop Kaka‘ako, CHAI will be setting up a scent bar and offering coupons to get a discount at the shop that night.

Cottage by the Sea

Founded in 2003, Cottage by the Sea was created to bring together jewelry, gifts and home decor in a cottage-style boutique setting. From flea markets and estate sales, the fixtures and furniture pieces have become some of Cottage by the Sea’s main attractions.
