The Chicago Bulls’ Derrick Rose was among the NBA stars in town this week for the Hoops for Troops USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour. The 2011 NBA MVP is a beast on the courts, but he also took time out to mingle Wednesday night at The Villa.
And seeing him on the Schofield basketball court on Thursday, it’s easy to see why the Chicago Bulls selected him as its top pick in the 2008 NBA draft. Let’s just hope that the NBA lockout ends soon, so we can see a bunch of our favorite NBA players back on the court.
