Parade of Poke: All the Exclusive New Poke Coming to May 20 Poke Fest

Dozens of poke choices from all over the island converge at Ka Makana Ali‘i on Saturday, May 20, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Poke fans’ biggest day of the year is one week away, and we’re catching early glimpses of the new creations each vendor is bringing. Frolic’s 6th annual Poke Fest presented by Fresh Island Fish happens on Saturday, May 20, with 14 poke vendors from all over O‘ahu coming together at Ka Makana Ali‘i—each with an all-new poke created exclusively for this event.

Feast your eyes on the ‘onolicious new poke below. And don’t forget: Every vendor will also sell their signature poke and other dishes as well. Fort Ruger Market is bringing its Ruger Special and Rugerlicious poke. ‘Ono Fresh Poke will have its signature Pokechos. And Sushi King is rolling out its brand new Makanai trailer and serving up vegetarian poke and more.

Other things to know: Admission to the 4 to 8 p.m. event is FREE. The first 500 attendees get a complimentary insulated tote, courtesy of Foodland. Live entertainment includes performances by Kimié Miner, Izik Moreno and Trishnālei. Plus, you’ll get to vote for your favorite new poke as we crown the new King of Poke Fest 2023!

Those new poke creations? Purchase of a Poke Pass will get you a 4-ounce portion from five poke vendors of your choice, AND you can bypass lines with a special Poke Pass fast lane at each booth.
