The holidays are great, but in your gingerbread-and-eggnog-induced delirium, you missed a few things. Like the fact that three new stores opened in Honolulu in the past two weeks. So stop in for a visit… and feel free to wear out your welcome.

When a retail space opened up in The Royal Hawaiian, owner Joanna Beall jumped at the chance to expand to yet another renowned hotel. The bright, pristine shop is packed with the same stylish, high-quality resortwear and accessories as its Kahala Hotel & Resort counterpart: breezy Suboo silk dresses, snuggable Skull Cashmere hoodies, Miami-based Ondade Mar bikinis and playful Roberta Roller Rabbit pineapple beach blankets. Look also for vibrant Rebecca Beach postcards and a keiki rack filled with pint-sized PilyQ and L*Space bikinis, slippers and cover-ups.

Gone is the old gift shop in Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House (a new art studio takes its place by the main entrance). Instead, architect Glenn Mason converted an old storage shed down by Spalding House Cafe into a semi-open storefront with large sliding doors kept open during business hours. The new shop is stocked with fun, contemporary finds: locally designed jewelry by instructor Brenda Ching, stunning fused glass clocks by Michigan artist Nina Cambron and doodle-inspired iron candlestick holders from Swedish designers Bengt & Lotta. Then, in 2014, the space transforms into a rotating pop-up, starting with sweet-centric goodies for Valentine's Day.

Organik x Aloha Sailor Pop-Up
This pop-up is so new (it opened just a few hours ago), we couldn't photograph it. But, rest assured, when you stop for coffee at Harbor Court's Umami Cafe, you'll also find Organik's new Diamond Head and Sew Local tees, classic Mahalo and Aloha tees, Aloha Sailor's nautical folklore and vintage-inspired apparel and M8TE's nautical chart wallets. Just shop quickly – this ship sails after the holidays.
