Last days in the Big Apple

During my last days in New York, I tried my best to soak up every minute. From eating to last-minute shopping in New York, there were so many things to do in the city, and boy, I hardly slept.

Trust me when I say that I gained a whole lot of weight. There were so many delicious food places that it was hard to have time to taste it all. I discovered new spots, and of course, I had to fit in my must eat places.

I also had to be part of the nightlife scene and check out a hookah lounge/bar, Le Souk as well as a club in NYC’s Lower East Side. The super-packed venue, Le Souk, brought in a mixed crowd, with entertaining performers and a DJ that kept the crowd on their feet.

I’d like to thank all of my Hawaii and New York friends for such a wonderful time in the Big Apple. From eating, shopping, checking out the clubs and catching up on life, it was a much-needed breather after completing graduate school. I’m so in love with the city and hope to one day to live there.
