Kendama-Rama in Our Kaka‘ako
Hawaii’s kendama battlers converged in Our Kaka‘ako Saturday for the World Kendama-Rama, competing for prizes in four categories (beginner 10 and under, beginner 11 and up, intermediate and advanced). Leading the event were some of the country’s kendama elite, including Sweets pros Matt Sweets Jorgenson, Max Norcross and Nui Wong.
Here was the final battle in the advanced category, with a 12-year-old winner emerging.
