Kawaii Kravings is a sugar-rush journey into O‘ahu’s world of delicious, Instagrammable sweets.

Sweet treats go straight to my heart, but my camera eats first if they’re worthy of a post on Instagram. Kawaii Kravings combines my love for sweet treats with the desire to photograph every beautiful dessert that crosses my path. In the first episode, I find myself at Pearl Kai Shopping Center for Sugarlina Bakeshop. This super cute bakery crafts many sweet treats but they are best known for exquisite and adorable cupcakes finished with rich buttercream frostings and toppings.

Sugarlina’s last day in Pearl Kai is May 15. The bakeshop will relocate to Ward Village next to Kamitoku Ramen and Piggy Smalls with a soft opening planned for early June.
