Highlights: Aloha Festivals parade
Extravagant floats, marching bands, pa’u riders and hula dancers paraded through Waikiki Saturday to commemorate the 65th annual Aloha Festivals. As always, the parade was a feast for the senses as participants shared Hawaii’s culture and beauty through flowers, music and dance. This year, the Aloha Festivals took it up a notch and shared Hawaii with the world by providing a livestream of the event on the internet. Here are some of the highlights of the day.
