Like a best friend or favorite uncle, 7-Eleven Hawai‘i has always been there when I needed it. It’s my go-to for quick late-night munchies, grab-and-go breakfasts and whenever I’m hangry but just can’t decide on a place to eat. Hey, that’s what a convenience store’s there for, right? And now, with many of us commuting less, or not at all, it’s aiming to make our lives even more convenient in a big way. The chain has partnered with Vroom Delivery to offer a buy-from-home option to customers. Launched at the end of June, this new delivery service is still in its soft launch phase and limited to two stores—one in Nu‘uanu and one in Moanalua—but will eventually be rolled out to the 64 locations across the state.

Just how convenient is it? Visit 7-Eleven Hawai‘i’s Vroom Delivery page and you might be surprised at just how many products are available for delivery: whole pizzas, bentos, alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, pastries—even ice and Slurpees. There’s also a section for household items such as medicine, soap, toilet paper and motor oil. It’s all the products 7-Eleven Hawai‘i has had in-store for years, but now that you can buy all the breakfast sandwiches, Spanish rolls and bags of chips your heart desires without ever having to leave the house … well, that’s just a different level.

To encourage customers, for a limited time 7-Eleven Hawai‘i is waiving its delivery fee. Orders must be $10 minimum and there’s an option to add tip online or pay cash in person. Right now, you can also order Altered Dimension wines that, for a limited time, are available exclusively at 7-Eleven Hawai‘i (and through delivery as well).

But wait, there’s more: The chain has partnered with Hakuyosha Clean Living to begin offering 24/7 contact-free dry cleaning and laundry services at select stores starting Monday, Aug. 3. The service will first be offered at 1602 Nu‘uanu Ave. with its location at 590 Queen St. adding the service within the following two weeks.
