Na Mele o Na Keiki (Music for the Children) is an annual holiday concert presented free of charge by U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific. The concert will feature the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific Band performing holiday favorites with a variety of guest artists, including “Wild Hawaiian” Henry Kapono; jazz singer Ginai; Hawaiian ukulele and falsetto artist Ryan Kamakakehau Fernandez; former “America’s Got Talent” contestant and singer Ciana Pelekai; vocalist Lara Murdzia; and the all-female choir Honolulu Blend.
The concert is the Marine Corps’ gift to the community, and is also an opportunity to support the Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Hawaii effort. Tickets are available now and can be picked up at the Hawaii Theatre Box Office during regular office hours.

Winner of the prestigious Ka Himeni ‘Ana Hawaiian music competition in 2009, Kaiholu will make its HPR Atherton Studio debut. The quartet (Nathaniel Mahealani Stillman, Trax Enos, Albert Rowland Jr. and Henry Hanale Ka‘anapu) is known for its vibrant sound and rich harmonies reminiscent of the Sons of Hawaii. Their name, taken from Enos’ middle name, means “swaying sea,” which is also the name of their self-produced debut CD released in 2013.
