Design The Next Hawaii SPAM Can
SPAM lover? Now’s your chance to design the next Hawaii SPAM can!
Hormel Foods Corporation, the Minnesota-based maker of SPAM products, is holding a design contest open to any Hawaii-based graphic designer willing to take on the challenge.
The winning design will become an official SPAM product label exclusively for Hawaii distribution.
The grand prize winner will take home $1,000 in cash with bragging rights and a cool piece in their design portfolio. In addition to the cash and clout, the grand prize winner will receive a case of SPAM and a gift bag full of SPAM swag.
Four runner-up prizes will be given with a consolation case of SPAM prize and a SPAM gift bag.
Design submissions are being accepted now and end on Feb. 18, 2011. Voting for the next Hawaii SPAM can design will take place from Feb. 21-25.
