On October 19, The Slopes of Diamondhead HUI presented their wild annual fundraiser Crazy, Sexy, Ghoul at Aloha Tower. Thousands of people showed up in costume and proceeds went directly to Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

The Honolulu Chamber of Commerce held the 11th Annual Chopsticks and Wine event at the Hawaii Convention Center. The event, called "Wine...And All That Jazz," had over a dozen of Hawaii's top chefs for food and wine tasting.

On September 28, the Honolulu Zoo held its annual Zoofari gala fundraiser. This year's theme was Elephant Moon with the Asian elephants Mari and Vaigai. The event also featured a auctions and behind-the-scenes tours.

Make-A-Wish Hawaii celebrated their 30th anniversary this year. They hosted a festive gala at the Kahala Resort with poolside cocktails, dinner and a beach party.

On September 23, CBS hosted a red carpet showing for the Season 3 premiere of Hawaii Five-0 at Waikiki Beach.

On September 21, Lux at the Trump hosted The Great Gatsby party at the Trump International Hotel & Tower Waikiki. The event featured a fashion runway show and high quality spirits.

On September 14, the Children's Alliance of Hawaii held its Hot Club at the Royal fundraiser. The event featured Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning jazz artists The Hot Club of Hulaville, a 1940's theme and a silent auction.

On September 15, the American Heart Association of Hawaii hosted its annual Black Tie and Blue Jeans fundraiser at Waialae Country Club. The proceeds go to the organization's research, education, health advocacy and community service programs.

On September 8, the Washington Place Foundation Board of Directors, alongside Governor Neil Abercrombie, hosted a dinner on the grounds of Washington Place in honor of Queen Liliuokalani.

The Greek Festival of Hawaii was held at the McCoy Pavilion at Ala Moana Park on August 25 and 26. It's the original, biggest Greek festival in Hawaii.

On August 25, the Healthcare Association of Hawaii hosted its 2012 Awards & Scholarship Dinner at Ala Moana Hotel. This year's event was inspired by the dragon, the Chinese zodiac symbol that represents 2012.
