On November 5, Special Olympics Hawaii hosted its 3rd Annual Over the Edge of Waikiki fundraiser event.

On September 20th, the Plaza Club celebrated its 32nd anniversary. The event featured local musicians Dennis Wong, Manu Boyd and Palani Vaughn.

On September 19, the HRA hosted a Hall of Fame dinner at the Modern Honolulu to honor the 12 chefs who founded Hawaii Regional Cuisine.
