DFS Galleria is now T Galleria by DFS. The luxury travel retailer unveiled the new name for its stores with a gala in Waikiki including a block party, hula and striking dance performers and a surprise concert by United Kingdom artist Estelle. The name T Galleria pays homage to the retailer's dedication to serving travelers. Waikiki's location is the first boutique to receive the new name. All existing DFS Galleria stores across the world will receive the same new name and elevated design over the next 18 months.

The Healthcare Association of Hawaii's Awards & Scholarship Dinner honored caregivers, physicians, leaders and people who work behind the scenes in Hawaii's healthcare industry.

The Hawaii Food & Wine Festival's signature event Taste Our Love for the Land showcased dishes using local ingredients and "farm to table" cooking practices. The event featured 20 celebrity chefs, three master sommeliers, 12 winemakers and five mixologists.

The Third Annual Food & Wine Festival's signature event, Under the Modern Moon: Morimoto & Friends was hosted on Sept. 5, 2013 at The Modern Honolulu. The event featured dishes prepared by 15 national and international chefs from the Pacific and Asia, along with five mixologists, 10 wineries and winemakers offering pairings.

The Huffington Post launched HuffPost Hawaii in partnership with Honolulu Civil Beat on Sept. 4. The Huffington Post's founder Arianna Huffington moderated a panel discussion called The Third Metric about "redefining success beyond money and power."

The American Cancer Society's fundraiser Bridging Birthdays Carnival featured live musical performances, a celebrity auction and wine tasting at the Bishop Museum.

Christian Self, Timo Lee and Phil Manzanera celebrated the grand opening of their new cocktail bar, Bevy at 661 Auahi St. in Kakaako.

The monthly art and flea market, Art and Flea featured more 60 late-night vendors at Fresh Cafe in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The Joy of Sake featured a public tasting of 384 junmai, ginjo and daiginjo sakes from the U.S. National Sake Appraisal. Sixteen Hawaii restaurants served appetizers to accompany the sakes.

From Aug. 2-4, the Pacific Ink and Art Expo showcased the work of tattoo artists from Hawaii and around the world at the Neal Blaisdell Expo Hall.

The Honolulu Museum of Art fundraiser August Moon featured small plates from restaurants, and wines from more than 20 Hawaii, northern California, Oregon and Australia winemakers. Proceeds from the event supports the museum’s art education programs.
