The Hawaiian May! Collection Fashion Show celebrated local food and fashion in Waikiki.

The nonprofit organization Helping Hands Hawaii held its annual gala fundraiser at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on March 18.

NFL all-star football players competed in the Pro Bowl game on Jan. 26. The Pro Bowl game kicked off the week leading up to the Super Bowl. NFL greats included Jerry Rice, Deion Sanders, Drew Brees, Nick Foles, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Jamaal Charles, LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte, Jimmy Graham, Josh Gordon, Alfred Morris and Desean Jackson.

On Jan. 22, the NFL hosted an event called Punt, Pass & Kick, featuring Special Olympics of Hawaii athletes and NFL Pro Bowl players.

On Dec. 14, adults dressed up as Santa or elves, and paraded around Waikiki for the Honolulu SantaCon 2013 event.

On Nov. 7, Waikiki business owners and Cedar Street Galleries celebrated Hawaii's Modern Masters which combines the fashion and arts of Luxury Row on Kalakaua Avenue.

On Oct. 31, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa hosted Halloween At Hyatt.

On Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, the Slopes of Diamondhead HUI hosted its annual pre-Halloween costume party "Crazy, Sexy, Ghoul" at the Aloha Tower. Proceeds from the event benefited Make-a-Wish Hawaii.

On Oct. 12, 2013, runners participated in the Honolulu Run, Rock and Wine Half Marathon. The event included food and wine tasting for racers who made it to the finish line.

On Oct. 2, 2013, the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce hosted a benefit wine and food event, Chopsticks & Wine at the Hawaii Convention Center.

DFS Galleria is now T Galleria by DFS. The luxury travel retailer unveiled the new name for its stores with a gala in Waikiki including a block party, hula and striking dance performers and a surprise concert by United Kingdom artist Estelle. The name T Galleria pays homage to the retailer's dedication to serving travelers. Waikiki's location is the first boutique to receive the new name. All existing DFS Galleria stores across the world will receive the same new name and elevated design over the next 18 months.

The Third Annual Food & Wine Festival's signature event, Under the Modern Moon: Morimoto & Friends was hosted on Sept. 5, 2013 at The Modern Honolulu. The event featured dishes prepared by 15 national and international chefs from the Pacific and Asia, along with five mixologists, 10 wineries and winemakers offering pairings.
