6Black Friday got started earlier than usual. By 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, shoppers had arrived in force at Ala Moana, taking advantage of doorbuster deals at Macy’s and a few other stores that opened at that early hour. As the evening went on, a long line formed outside the Disney store, with everything in the store 20 percent off.

Around the island, of course Walmart was crazy, with swarms of people collecting bargain TVs, toys and more. And Pearlridge got jammed as the midnight hour approached.
