James Charisma is a frequent contributor to HONOLULU Magazine; director of Charisma Industries, a local creative agency; and associate publisher of Abstract Magazine, an award-winning collectible print publication for Hawai’i. A transplant from Manhattan living in Honolulu, he earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawai‘i-Mānoa, with a focus in clinical psychology, criminology, and psychopathology.
