All Eating, No Cleaning: Order Thanksgiving Dinner From This Local Restaurant
(Sponsored) The Kaimukī restaurant is offering to do the cooking for you for Turkey Day.
Maybe you’re worried about big groups this year. Or maybe you just want to keep the social distancing going (shoutout to my fellow introverts!). Either way, celebrating Thanksgiving this year with just one or two people doesn’t mean you’re fated to spend the day sipping wine, cooking along with chef Gordon Ramsay on YouTube and making last-minute trips to the store because you ran out of butter.
Instead of spending Thanksgiving Day stressing out in the kitchen, preorder a Thanksgiving dinner for two from 12th Ave Grill. For $79, this heat-and-serve meal comes with: a traditional turkey; fresh cranberry and local kumquat sauce; turkey gravy; roasted garlic mashed potatoes; cornbread and dried fruit stuffing; a local green bean casserole with crimini mushrooms, crispy Big Island leeks and Kula onions; and Okinawan sweet potatoes with a liliko‘i glaze.
That’s quite a lot, but if you’d like to add on even more to your cornucopia of Thanksgiving dishes you also have the option to add on a 10- or 16-ounce Maui Cattle Co. prime rib ($27 and $42, respectively), which is served medium-rare and comes with horseradish crème fraîche and au jus. Optional desserts include an apple crisp and pecan pie, both $12 and for two people, as well as a pecan pie big enough for the whole family (or a couple that just really, really love pecan pie).
