A Foodie’s Guide to Halloween Happenings

Where to find Halloween bars, bar crawls, costume contests and food, sake and beer tastings through Oct. 31.

Some bad news: Hallowbaloo isn’t happening this year either. The good news is that it will return next year at a different location, organizer Mark Tarone says, not just as a one-night block party but an entire weekend of Halloween-themed events. Stay tuned for an announcement by February (fingers crossed).

More good news: The Halloween season abounds with spooky bars, costume contest, bar crawls, sake and beer events happening now through Oct. 31. Scroll through for all the choices; foodie-themed Halloween events are at the bottom.
