The 15th annual Made-in-Hawaii Festival at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall and Arena is back and bigger than ever: with 500 vendors, it’s the largest in the event’s history. From one-of-a-kind jewelry, apparel, woodcrafts and pet items to baked goods, teas, seasonings and chocolate, it’s perfect for early Christmas shopping or a weekend shopping spree. The festival also features performances by Cyril Pahinui, Frank DeLima, Makana and Melveen Leed. Meanwhile, the Arena will sizzle as Hale Aina Award-winning chefs present cooking demonstrations; joining these top chefs is Food Network’s Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto (pictured) who will be opening his newest restaurant, Morimoto Waikiki, late this summer. HONOLULU Magazine is sponsoring the cooking demonstrations; for more information, visit honolulumagazine.com/madeinhawaii

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 20 and 21, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 22.
