Get ready to shake things up with some of Hawaii’s best mixologists. The 2nd annual Hawaii’s Best Mocktails competition is coming up Tuesday, May 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at International Market Place. This friendly competition will feature non-alcoholic cocktails for non-drinkers and designated drivers from bars, lounges and restaurants across the state. It’s sponsored by DTRIC Insurance, Ltd. and the Hawaii Restaurant Association and the best part? It’s free and you can sample the entries before voting for your favorite. All you need to do is register on Eventbrite.
Media personalities, industry professionals and social influencers will select the Judge’s Choice winner; you and other guests will vote for People’s Choice. Winners will be announced at the end of the event.
Hawaii’s Best Mocktails event invites designated drivers to enjoy alcohol-free drinks that look and taste as exotic as their cocktail counterparts. It’s part of HRA’s campaign to prevent drunk driving accidents while creating an inclusive atmosphere for all by offering mocktail options alongside classic cocktails.
Full recipes for the featured mocktails will be available online after the competition.
