Spread the word about 808 Urban’s latest project

Check out this inspiring video documenting the creation of a commissioned community mural project at Disney’s Aulani Resort. Some 17 high school students and six mentor artists from the arts organization, 808 Urban, worked together on the expansive project, which told the story of Maui. The artists first discussed the legends of Maui, then got to work.

“For me, itʻs been quite a journey,” says 808 Urban’s founder John Prime, a graffiti artist. “Aside from advocating for aerosol art and building this organization from the ground up, our youth initiative has been my most rewarding.”

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Prime has asked supporters to post a link to this page on your social media pages to spread the work about this amazing project.
