Rainbow Film Festival

The Honolulu Gay and Lesbian Cultural Foundation presents the 27th annual Rainbow Film Festival, celebrating the LGBT community. The entire month of August will feature LGBT-themed events and activities in partnership with the Honolulu Museum of Art. Come to the film fest’s opening night to see Strike a Pose, about Madonna’s dancers, followed by a Q&A.

Brighter Still: A Musical Tribute to Ron Bright
Aug. 6
Ron Bright, beloved Castle High School theater director and founder of the Castle Performing Arts Center, taught for more than 40 years before he passed away last summer. Here, a tribute to his life, with proceeds benefiting the I’m A Bright Kid Foundation.
