Who’s coming: Eat the Street Pork
Chefs Alan Wong (Alan Wong’s Restaurant), Hank Adaniya (Hank’s Haute Dogs) and Goran Streng (Tango) will be in the house for Friday’s Eat the Street, a pork fest that also includes 40 food trucks and street food vendors.
From 4:30-5:30, Adaniya will prepare a pupu-style “Taste o’ Hank’s,” including three different sausages and grilled veggie kabobs. From 6-7, Wong will whip up his pork entrée, and from 7:30-8:30, Streng will prepare a dessert featuring his sweet and savory bread pudding a la mode with crispy bacon.
Along with visiting the special Chef’s Tent, be sure to stop by the donation tent and give to Lanakila Meals on Wheels and reserve a table at its Good Table fundraiser, happening Oct. 3 at participating restaurants across Oahu. For more information about The Good Table, visit lanakilapacific.org
