Who’s coming: Eat the Street Pig Out!
Friday’s Eat the Street food truck rally is all about piggin’ out, with most of the 28 vendors crafting special pork dishes in honor of this month’s theme. Come try Baja Style Mexican Food’s roast pork taco bar, Tiki Truck’s Porkchos (pork nachos), Hula Shrimp’s Rainbow Pig Shave Rice and newcomer Cooking Fresh For You’s Pig Out Pork Posole.
Along with these and other pork-inspired creations, Nonstop Honolulu will be having a contest to crown the event’s best pork dish. Nonstop food writers Mari Taketa, Melissa Chang and Catherine Toth will be judging dishes based on taste, presentation and creativity, and naming the winner that night. It’s a pork lover’s dream showcase, so come join us for another night of foodie fun.
