Who’s coming: Eat the Street Bacon

Eat the Street happens Friday, Nov. 21, a week early this month because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Get ready to pig out on this month’s theme — bacon!
Here are some highlights:
• Making their ETS debut this month are the champions of Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race, Aloha Plate. The team of Lanai Tabura, Adam Tabura and Shawn Felipe will be cooking up this special menu for Eat the Street that includes
– “Aloha Friday” – roast bacon and fried egg with onions cherry tomato salad and steamed rice
– Home-style venison chili with smoked pork belly, an over-easy egg and steamed rice
– Pineapple and Taro Brand poi parfait with cane sugar and strawberries
– Lanai’s virgin pineapple mai tai
• Onda Pasta will feature a special panini pop-up (see menu below)
• This month’s #grinderzchoice contest will be for the best bacon dish starting at 4:30 p.m. and Ashley Lilinoe will be performing live from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
