Shoot to Thrill
What: Enter the Honolulu Zoo Society's amateur photography contest for a chance to win $250, a VIP behind-the-scenes tour and your winning photo on the cover of Honolulu Zoo's magazine, Zooview. Photos must be taken at the zoo between now and May 2013 in one of four categories (mammals, birds, reptiles and animals), be 8 by 12 inches in size and submitted with a mat and frame.
When: Entries will be accepted May 24-25, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Where: Honolulu Zoo, 151 Kapahulu Ave.
Details: Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis with no more than 150 entries per category. Email photocontest@honzoosoc.org to confirm your participation. Entry fee is $7 adults, $5 ages 12-17, free for keiki ages 4-11. All proceeds go to the zoo's Animal Conservation Fund. Click here for full details.

What: View North Shore artist Heather Brown's latest work at the "Paper and Cotton" art show. On display: never-before-seen linocuts, silkscreens prints and releases from her High Tide Surf Art clothing line, including a special limited-edition T-shirt.

Night at the Museums
What: Two Museums and a Royal Palace returns, this time with a spotlight on Hawaiian music. Pay one fee to gain entrance to Bishop Museum, Honolulu Museum of Art and Iolani Palace while enjoying live performances by Na Hoku Hanohano Award winners Paula Fuga, Maunalua and Waipuna. And don't worry about traffic or parking – free shuttle buses will transport you between venues.

What: In case you missed it, Justin Timberlake released his first single in more than five years this week. According to Billboard.com, Suit & Tie is expected to sell between 330,000 and 350,000 downloads by Sunday and could very well top the Hot 100 chart next week (it debuted this week at No. 84 with just two days of airplay).
