Learn about all things STEM at this science fair on steroids hosted by Scouting America, Aloha Council in honor of Hawai‘i astronaut and Eagle Scout Ellison Onizuka. Tour an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, meet NASA astronaut Colonel E. Michael Fincke, step inside a 45-foot-long inflatable humpback whale, join an AI workshop, watch a robotics scrimmage, see a planetarium show and visit booths with hands-on activities.

In a nod to its origins as a lunch wagon in A‘ala park, Lanakila Pacific Meals on Wheels is celebrating its 55th anniversary with a Food Truck Alley and Food Truck Challenge fundraiser. For $20, you can sample creative musubi dishes from competing vendors and vote for your favorite. There will also be non-musubi dishes available for purchase, a craft fair, keiki games and live entertainment.

Life can be heavy, but these two local comedians are not. Expect guaranteed laughs when City Councilman Augie Tulba is on stage joined by Bu La‘ia and special guest Sisa Grey, star of Chief of War. All proceeds from the show will be donated to BRAVE Hawai‘i’s youth programs.

If you’re not up for a full marathon, here’s a great alternative that you can still brag about completing. And yes, you’ll receive a hot malasada at the finish line. The scenic 13.1-mile course starts at the Duke Kahanamoku statue in Waikīkī and ends at Kapi‘olani Park. New this year, The Iki course is even shorter at 8.3 miles, but just as scenic.
