Watch a Japanese Calligraphy Master Paint With Giant Brushes

Hawai‘i Tokai International College will host a free event featuring a Japanese artist who will paint calligraphy using extra-large brushes, including one that measures 10-feet long and weighs 40 pounds, while accompanied by a taiko drum performance.
The event is open to the public and runs from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Tokai’s auditorium in Kapolei, 91-971 Farrington Highway.
