Flying cameras are here, they're affordable and photographer Joem Costes has one.
Small drones carrying video cameras have opened up aerial photography to the masses. Costes' model, a quadcopter called the Phantom 2 Vision, features an app for operating the camera by iPhone. A GPS unit returns the aircraft to its pilot if it flies out of range of the remote controls. It costs about $1,300.
Costes test flights reveal Waimanalo, Makapuu, Kahala, the Kaiwi Coast and Diamond Head from angles you've never seen before. Watch the video here.
