Twist at Hanohano is set to offer Honolulu’s most romantic evening 30-flights above Waikiki Beach with a four-course Valentine’s menu by award-winning Chef Ryan Loo. This special menu will be available throughout Valentine’s Day weekend,  February 12 – 14.

Throughout Valentine’s weekend, Hawaii’s top lounge musicians will take the stage at Twist with the incredible Dueling Piano duo of Ginny Tiu and Noly Paa taking the stage on Friday, February 12. Ukulele virtuoso Taimane Gardner will be featured on Saturday, February 13.

On Valentine’s Day, February 14, the Hot Club of Hulaville will perform its unique sounds of romantic gypsy jazz.

Twist at Hanohano’s three-course Core Menu will also be available throughout the Valentine’s Day weekend.

Lover’s Menu

Valentine’s Day is celebrated all month long at Hoku’s with a special 5-course set menu featuring an assortment of oysters, pan seared Chilean sea bass, and pan roasted Colorado veal chop with Maine lobster.

The Lover’s Menu will be available from February 6th through March 14th for $90 per person.

Afternoon of Love

On Valentine’s Day itself, celebrate with a special Sunday buffet at Hoku’s featuring butter poached king crab legs, miso butterfish, and oven roasted pine nut New Zealand rack of lamb.

The Sunday buffet is available on February 14, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for $58 per adult; $29 per child ages 4-12.

Over at Plumeria Beach House, you can enjoy a casually romantic night out with a variety of specials throughout February.

 

 "Romance" Dinner Buffet

Romance is on the menu at the Plumeria Beach House with a special dinner buffet featuring crab stuffed garlic prawns over capelini pasta, seafood paella, and butter poached snow crab legs.

This special buffet will be offered February 12 and 13 for $50 per person.

"Passion" Lovers Aphrodisiac Buffet

On Valentine’s Day itself, Plumeria Beach House will get you in the mood for love with a special Passion dinner buffet featuring deep fried blue prawns tossed with coriander and green onions and baked oysters with strawberry butter sauce and chilled strawberry relish.

Offered from 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., $50 per person, includes complimentary glass of sparkling wine for adults.

Chocolate Lover’s Dream Dessert

From February 1-28, 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., diners can indulge in a chocolate lover’s dream of a dark chocolate cream gateau with rose marmalade. The dessert is available for $12 per person.

The Kahala Hotel & Resort have two special dining events on the beach for an even more romantic setting to celebrate your Valentine’s Day.

Kahala Beach: Fire of Love

Enjoy a romantic night on the beach, snuggling by fire pits with your loved one while having fondue of chocolate, strawberries and cream, and a glass of Baileys or Champagne.

This special event will be held from February 12, 13, and 14, from 10 p.m. – 12 midnight for $30 per person.

On February 14, from 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., the Kahala Hotel & Resort will host a special event to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a romantic oceanfront dinner for two in a private pavilion, with live music from a strolling musician.

The 3-course dinner includes an amuse bouche; small seafood tower appetizer; grilled filet of beef and butter poached lobster; Grand Marnier bitter sweet chocolate fondue for two; and a bottle of Taittinger Champagne.

Shokudo Japanese Restaurant is aiming for an unforgettable dining experience and focusing on the mood of their restaurant. On Valentine’s Day from 5 p.m. to midnight, the restaurant will go "unplugged" and do an all candlelight dinner.

The restaurant is hoping the mood will also allow patrons to reflect on a deeper cause of how doing simple things like eating dinner by candlelight can be not only romantic, but also save energy in the hopes of a greener, more peaceful planet.
