Friday afternoon, Nonstop’s Diane Seo — who can easily resist food — was starving after a day of work. I — who cannot — was stuffed after a cross-town eatfest. How our mission to scope out the top 10 finds among 200 booths at the pre-Mother’s Day expo turned into a list completely dominated by food and food-related things was mystifying.
We saw Totoro bags, carved spears, gorgeous jewelry … and food. Hello Kitty nail stickers, wine chiller bags, handmade wallets … and food. Cuteness was in overload everywhere we looked … that and more food.
