The white iPhone has arrived

After considerable delays and constant setbacks, at long last the “Big White Elephant” is finally in the room. The long awaited white iPhone is now available from Apple.com, AT&T and Verizion’s online stores and well as the brick-and-mortar stores today.

Apple Senior Vice President Phil Schiller said launching the white iPhone was challenging. “We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right,” he said.

I originally said I would wait for the white iPhone, but gave in really quickly and pre-ordered the standard black version. We want to know if anybody out there was one of those who waited? If you are getting a white iPhone, please let us know.
