The Ultimate “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” Drinking Game

The filmed-in-Hawai‘i sequel to 2015’s summer blockbuster premieres June 22.

We’ve been following the cast of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s Hawai‘i adventures on Instagram since filming began last year (#whatsmysnack), and Chris Pratt even jumped into one of our photo shoots at Kualoa Ranch. They were recently back in town, celebrating both the 25th anniversary of the first Jurassic Park film and the fifth one’s upcoming release.

After four Jurassic movies, we’ve noticed some patterns and think we know what to expect. Head to one of Hawai‘i’s alcohol-serving theaters starting June 22 and take a drink every time …

✅ A dinosaur eats another dinosaur

✅ Someone yells, “RUN!”

✅ You recognize a filming location

✅ An Apatosaurus dies

✅ Things don’t go as planned

✅ Someone is shirtless

✅ The theme song plays

✅ Someone or something from the original trilogy appears

✅ There is a celebrity cameo

✅ Someone runs in heels

✅ Someone locks eyes with a dinosaur, and they see into each other’s souls

✅ Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) says something snarky

✅ Someone steals dino DNA

✅ An incompetent worker makes a grave mistake

✅ Someone wants to use dinosaurs to their advantage

✅ A dinosaur escapes its enclosure

✅ Someone spots giant footprints or claw marks

✅ Henry Wu (B.D. Wong) says or does something conniving

✅ Someone smells dino dung

✅ External forces come to help, only to perish immediately

✅ Someone says, “Life finds a way.”

✅ Someone makes a morally questionable decision

✅ A dinosaur comes incredibly close to someone, only to turn away at the last second

✅ An unexpected hero saves the day

✅ The kids are smarter than the adults

✅ Someone says they need to stop playing God or messing with nature

✅ A rich man does something stupid

✅ Blue, the Velociraptor, shows up

✅ You spot a scientific inaccuracy (within reasonable suspension of disbelief)

✅ There’s a dramatic kiss

✅ If you’re stuck sitting behind someone in a dinosaur costume, chug the rest of your drink and get a ride home.
