Just in time for the winter swells, Surfer Towel is brightening up shores with its latest wave of quick-dry towels. The beachware line was dreamt up by three North Shore surfers who longed for a towel that looked cool and would travel well on surf trips—something lightweight that both absorbed water and dried fast, packed away tiny and didn’t get smelly.
The towel’s water-loving nature comes courtesy of its ultrathin fabric, a microfiber poly-nylon blend, and chamois-style weave, which allow it to absorb up to seven times its weight in liquid. Super-soft, it repels sand and comes with a handy loop for hanging.

For a local touch, the label collaborated with a handful of Island artists, transforming their works into reversible prints. Keep an eye out for Nick Kuchar’s retro-minded travel posters, Kim Sielbeck’s poppy foliage and dreamy watercolorlike ocean scenes from Christie Shinn. Fresh designs by Kat Reeder and Jack Soren are set to drop into the lineup this winter.
