Held every March, the Honolulu Festival celebrates our Island cultures and promotes ethnic harmony between Hawai‘i and our neighbors across the Pacific Rim. Festivities during the three-day event include cultural performances, a friendship gala and the 5K Ekiden relay race, concluding with a parade and fireworks show in Waikīkī.

Jazz pianist Ethan Capone has worked with a long list of local and national musicians and done multiple collabs with Henry Kapono. He performs as this month’s featured guest for Hawai‘i Public Radio’s jazz concert series.

Incubus

Combine lyricist Brandon Boyd with one of Electronic Dance Music’s hottest DJs and you get 8, Incubus’ aptly titled eighth studio album. Hear tracks from the new album, co-produced and mixed by longtime friend Skrillex, along with old favorites “Anna Molly” and “Drive” at two Honolulu shows this month at The Republik.

Star Dust: A Tribute to David Bowie

Complexions Contemporary Ballet channels all the glitz and glitter of ’70s glam rock in a tribute to one of history’s greatest music legends. Expect explosive choreography and groundbreaking contemporary styles set to, of course, David Bowie’s biggest hits.

HONOLULU Family Fun Run

HONOLULU Family Fun Run

Featuring a 5K course filled with selfie stops, snack stations, entertainment and more, the HONOLULU Family Fun Run is open to all ages and a great way to get the whole family into fitness. Kids ages 3–10 can also sign up for the keiki-only 500-meter dash. Afterward, head over to the keiki fun zone for games, a bouncy house and more.
