TBD…’s To-Go Menu Is a Culinary Flavor Trip
(Sponsored) This hidden Waikīkī gem elevates familiar dishes with fine-dining techniques and global flavors.

With a curious name like TBD… (three-dot punctuation included), one might not have any idea what one might expect from this restaurant. Tucked away in the Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head, just a hair past Kaimana Beach, it opened halfway through 2019 as an elegant pop-up designed to close after 18 months.

Fast-forward 20 months to now, and TBD… (an apt name, now that I think about it) is still open and serving takeout while dining services are on hold. Take it as a sign that chef Vikram Garg, an Indian native with more than 25 years of international culinary experience, is dishing out some good eats.
TBD… describes its menu as familiar dishes elevated with fine-dining techniques and global flavors, a philosophy that’s reflected in its to-go menu, which is broken down into two genres: “Comfort,” with cozy European-style dishes such as lasagna, steak frites and lamb shank; and “Immunity Booster,” with healthful Indian-style curries (including a vegan one!) prepared with good-for-you Ayurvedic spices and seasonings.
TBD.. also offers weekly specials. This week’s is a two-person multicourse meal (so popular, it’s a hana hou from last week) that includes your choice of Chef Garg’s baby back ribs or barbecue organic chicken, plus potato salad, garlic rice, chopped salad, corn bread and cookies for just $49 (additional portions can be added for $25 per person). Preorders are recommended.
